He's Here!

Cooper McCall Franklin was born at 4:34pm, measuring 19.5 inches and weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounce. He runs a 4.3 40-yard-dash, although officials threw out those numbers due to the presence of steroids in his system. He is currently weighing the option of turning pro and declaring himself eligible for the 2006 draft.

Seriously, though...

He weighs the same Savannah did at birth. Savannah was born at 40 weeks, 5 days. Cooper is exactly 38 weeks. Our best guess is that he would have weighed about 11 pounds if he had gone full term. Our effort to create a race of Aryan Superbabies is a success! He's a beautiful kid and looks so much like his big sister.

Kelli's doing extremely well. In fact, she was talking football with the doctors as they sewed her up.

Savannah is very excited about her baby brother. We are all thanking God for the blessing of a big, healthy baby boy!
