It's been an interesting week in the Franklin house. I've finally finished working on a big project that was keeping me busy around the clock. I thought I'd be able to jump right back into life and not miss a beat. I must be too old for that now, because helping Kelli get the house ready for Coop, I would have to take a break after a couple of hours. Sometimes, I would even get out of breath walking across a room. Who knew that sitting in an office chair for 16-20 hours a day, eating whatever is available and getting absolutely no exercise would have an adverse effect on your health?
BTW, don't shop at Sears! Our refrigerator died a couple of weeks ago. We discovered that when we paid for a new fridge five years ago, we were delivered a used one. There were replacement parts in it, and we've never had it repaired. They have not yet decided whether they are going to give us a new fridge. If not, we're going to have to sue them. We're not really litigious people, but this store is known for unethical and irresponsible practices. I'm gunning for two Sears locations and a half dozen K-marts as our settlement. (It could happen -- Alabama juries are crazy!)
Savvi is out for fall break from Thursday until Tuesday. We haven't been able to do much fun stuff with her, because Kelli's just not up to getting out much. We've also been going room to room cleaning every square inch of the house. I'll spend the next week getting caught up with a couple months of yard work.
We did get to to Savvi to a new play place, Recreation Station 280. I'll try to post some video links here -- if I can figure out how.
Kelli is on the phone with her doctor right now. She has had headaches for four days now. Over the last two days, she has experienced increasing tingling and numbness on one side of her face. We think it's Bell's Palsy. She's getting steroids for one day to combat the symptoms.
